Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary has been providing lifelong care and refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees since 1993.

The sanctuary takes in chimpanzees from West and Central Africa rescuing them from the pet trade, conflict zones and poaching or smuggling seizures and offers them safety and security in natural enclosures. Nominated by Care for the Wild International.
