Member Synopsis

PASA is part of an effort led by the Humane Society of the United States to increase protections for captive chimpanzees in the US. Currently, captive chimpanzees in the US are exploited for entertainment, invasive experiments, and the exotic pet trade. Studies show that these uses of chimpanzees hurt efforts to conserve wild chimpanzees.
