Takes place Saturday 21st September, 2013
On Saturday 21st of September 2013 100's of people, all dressed as gorillas, will run, jog or walk 7km though the City of London in the 10th annual Great Gorilla Run to help save a species on the edge of extinction.
The runners play a crucial role in helping to save the remaining mountain gorillas left in the wild. Now in its 10th year, this incredible event has raised more than £1.9 million for biodiversity conservation and poverty reduction projects in central Africa.
Registration is now open for the 2013 Great Gorilla Run. As there are no more than 800 mountain gorillas left in the wild, places in this year's run are limited to 800 in total.
